Students are at the centre of all our college activities and programmes. As an institution we are committed to promoting the over-all wellbeing of our students. This includes providing them a safe and secure environment as well as adequate facilities in terms of infrastructure and other support systems. We aspire to create an environment conducive to making their stay in the college happy and productive. Special attention is paid to make sure that our differently-abled students are totally comfortable. In order to encourage students to voice their issues and solve their problems, thecollege appoints a two Student Welfare Officers every year. The officer not only offersadvice and support to students but also acts as the voice of the student communityand presents their problems to the administrative authorities for necessary action.There are also other avenues available to students to express their problems anddemands like the Grievance Redressal Cell, the Anti Sexual Harassment Cell andSuggestion Boxes.

Team Achievements 2018-19

Won the Overall trophy at the State Level Cultural competition Samskruthika Habba at Mysuru.

  • The college Cultural Team led by Shreya Gopal and Chinmaya N which won the Overall trophy at the State Level Cultural Competition Samskruthika Habba at Mysuru.

Won many prizes were invited to perform at the inauguration programme of Bengaluru Central University.

  • The college Music team which won many prizes and were invited to perform at the inauguration programme of Bengaluru Central University.

College Mime and Strret Play team which won many prizes at Intercollege Competitions

  • The College Mime and Strret Play team which won many prizes at Intercollege Competitions.

Achievers 2017-18

  • Bharathnatyam and Kathak exponent, recipient of numerous awards, performs regularly across India and abroad.
  • She is a singer, dancer, dubbing artist and actor. She regularly gives programs of both Bharathanatyam and Singing and has made her debut as dubbing artist and in acting.
  • The College Classical dance team has won prestigious state level competitions and has performed at the Yuva Dasara Cultural fest.
  • The College Singing team has won many Intercollege competitions including Vishwamanava Samskruthi Habba 2017 State Level competition.
  • Completed a project on Mitigation of Man-Elephant Conflict in Karnataka with special reference to Bannerghatta National Park sponsored by the Bangalore Environment Trust and guided by noted environmentalist Dr A.N Yellappareddy.
  • Won 1place in the Man of the Hour and duo won 3rd place in HR event at Moneta the annual financial fest of the R A Poddar College of Commerce and Economics , Mumbai.
