Department of Commerce and management witnessed a sustained progress across academic, beyond academic arena. During their learning Journey with us our students are provided a world class physical and knowledge infrastructure along with good learning environment to support holistic student progress. We constantly encourage our students to explore and learn from real world corporate scenarios with an aim to up-skill and learn through diverse learning opportunities to bridge Industry academia gaps. The Value added, add on and certificate programs offered by the department goes a long way in this direction to support varied, diverse and beyond academic learning needs.

The department encourages uniformic Quality content delivery through effective coordination by Internal Board of Studies, department appoints subject coordinators to bring coordination in syllabus completion. To ensure outcome based learning through continuous Internal Evaluation department faculties, examination committee conduct formative and summative assessment to determine student learning Levels. Bridge courses and remedial classes are offered to facilitate the learning needs of slow and resilient learners. The department also has regular mentoring session through appointment of mentors to support learning needs. Apart academic content delivery there are varied learning opportunities to students through participative, experiential and exploratory learning opportunities through participation in Inter Collegiate Commerce and Management Fests, Internship projects, preparation of project reports, Student exchange programs, participation in outreach activities, business and Language lab initiatives. MOOC Courses are encouraged both among students and faculties for skill enhancement. To inculcate the moral and value based learning among students, the Department conducts various guest lectures and workshops which are very essential for an individual to lead accomplished life.

The department also aims for faculty skill enhancement through providing adequate learning opportunities by participation in various university assignments, Faculty Development Programs, refresher training programs, Seminars, Conferences, Guest Lecture sessions, Faculty exchange programs, out-reach assignment to, encouraging faculties to take up research projects.

The academic achievements can be understood through excellent university results and ranks also with good placements among prestigious organization with good Job Profiles. Our student has had exceptional performance even beyond academic front which can be seen through their achievements in sports, cultural, community based services. These can together be viewed as testimonials to the efforts of the department. We strive to provide exponential growth among students community in the coming days ahead.
