Part of the eight-decade-old Seshadripuram Education Trust, Seshadripuram College was established on a modest scale on 1st July 1973 with just six staff members and student strength of thirty. Today, with over 2000 students, 18 Under Graduate and 2 Post Graduate Departments, the college continues to surge ahead with the motto ‘Always Aiming High’ as an inspiration.
The College has passed through different stages and established itself as a renowned institution. Today its reputation is not merely confined to the city but has also spread to other states in the country. |

| In a world that is constantly in a state of flux, my dream is to make the institution relevant both in an academic and practical sense. The training imparted to the students in this institution must enable them to face society courageously. Family values like honesty and respect for others which are required to counteract the increasing self- centeredness of our times, are inculcated and nurtured in our institution. |
