Apart from housing a collection of 54,800 books, the library also subscribes to  about 97 periodicals in various languages to cater to the intellectual needs of students and faculty members. An alternative, new-age source of information is present in the form of the internet. To make knowledge more accessible, the library also contains provisions for scanning and photocopying of texts.
The Post Graduate section within the main library also contains valuable research material. The library reference room also provides facilities for seminars and screening of educational movies for small groups. |
